Interleges Secondment Scheme

In 2017 the Interleges Award (in memory of Stephen Raymer) was replaced by an internship scheme under which Interleges part funds the temporary secondment of a junior lawyer by one member firm to another to work on a legal project of mutual benefit to those firms and the members of Interleges generally. The first secondment under the Interleges Internship Scheme (in memory of Stephen Rayner) took place in the Spring of 2019 when Edward Chapman of Royds Withy King (England) spent one month based at the offices of Anderson Kill in New York experiencing the work undertaken by their Corporate and Blockchain and Virtual Currency sector groups. A copy of Edward Chapman’s paper “Blockchain: commercial use cases and the regulatory regime for cryptoassets” is attached.
